Determined by Dr. Norm Woodley who said: “Your fly is a stratiomyid! It’s presently in the genus Eidalimus, but the taxonomy of this group needs revision. They are quite uncommon in collections.”
Found by sweeping a small Celtis sp. (hackberry)
