The subfamily Cylapinae and the genus Fulvius are considered to inhabit only eastern US, and they have rarely been found or posted west of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, and Wisconsin
Determined by Salvador Vitanza as Fulvius sp.; probably Fulvius atratus, a species reported from Mexico, Guatemala, and Ecuador
