This species was abundant and reached an impressive size with large and strong webs. There were so many spiders that I had to use a stick to break the webs ahead of me to walk through the vegetation. Regardless, I was thrilled to find such a beautiful beast.

Although this specimen was photographed in Florida, the species range includes Texas
