Attracted to mercury vapor and ultraviolet lights
The colors of the bug in these photos are probably subdued because I misplaced a vial full of insects after I took it from the freezer. It was left at room temperature for almost 3 days. Before taking these photos, I had to immerse this bug in water (it was dried and brittle) to rehydrate it. Unfortunately, the water wrinkled the wings and the membrane appears distorted.
