Determined by David McCoy, via this image series, who said: “Check for a pigmented spot on the bottom of pygophore. E. variolarius has one. E. servus does not. As far as range of distribution: E. variolarius is found as far west as Utah and E. servus is mentioned in Arizona records.” The last image in this series shows the lack of the spot David mentioned.
