The larva was collected on July 14, 2024 and placed in a rearing container
Numerous larvae and chrysalises were found at night by shining an ultraviolet flashlight on hackberry trees. Interestingly, they fluoresce when exposed to ultraviolet light.
The adult was discovered on July 27, 2024, but it probably emerged at least a couple of days earlier
