Many species of moths were visiting the cracked, ripe fruits of prickly pear cactus (Opuntia sp.) at night along with Leptoglossus spp., jumping spiders, and other arthropods.
The orientation of this photo is reversed. In reality, the moth had her head pointing down (towards the ground)
